Social Innovation Fellows Programme
The Akshaya Patra Foundation is delighted to invite applications for the first batch of its Social Innovation Fellows Programme.
‘The Akshaya Patra Foundation Social Innovation Fellows’ Programme is a paid one-year, impact experience programme that gives select individuals from across India the opportunity to create social impact and enhance their leadership potential. The Fellows Programme engages aspiring social entrepreneurs and budding change makers to gain valuable experience with Akshaya Patra, which operates the world’s largest NGO directed mid-day meal programme , serving over 1.4 million children every day.
Fellows will be part of an innovation team and be responsible for the design and execution of innovation initiatives across functions. Through the programme fellows will gain first-hand insights into the social sector and will also learn how to scale up and sustain impact initiatives.
The experience will also help fellows become social entrepreneurs or launch meaningful social impact careers in areas such as education, healthcare and impact investing.
